Hell yes. kick butt 2 times in 1 year PRICELESS
Leave the dead horse along until next year then we'll put them out to pasture again.
Nah, even though Clemson is a name brand school in the areas we recruit, 2 times in a year would be kind of odd. Secondly, I like the idea of playing teams we would not normally play.
Three Dollar Phil
One reason I would not like a rematch...turnovers can happen unexpectedly and at really bad times (think Fla. game) and if that happened, none of us would be very happy about it.
Also....when Spurrier won the National Title, his team had a rematch with Fla. St. who had just beaten them. Rematches when games are played back to back aren't good in my opinion, as the losing team is much more motivated to win.
I've been giving this even more thought....and..........
We've beaten them 4 years in a row. They have one whole year of pain coming at them. Even though the odds are that we win again, there is a small chance they might pull off the upset (it happens). No way I want to take the chance of them not having to suffer for the next year.
They aren't good enough to deserve a re-match. Just let them think about it for another year. The good news for us, we're getting better, they're getting worse.
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
Not much to gain from winning ( we already have)
To much to lose if we lose ( it wouldn't feel like we beat them Saturday at all)
I think we beat them by 21 if we played again . Boyd is scared . Neutral field too
Re-matches are never good. Absolutely not
No rematch. Beating them again would add nothing to our season. If by chance we lost, it helps them. By losing the last game, they'd have to change the way they game planned for us. They'd surely change the things that hurt them, as much as they could. Playing their secondary so deep may be one of the changes. For us, we'd not change much, since it worked so well last time. All the advantages to a rematch would be theirs. No thanks.
I don't want a rematch in a bowl game and i doubt that most of them do either. They don't want to take the chance of losing to us twice to end their season. A beating by LSU, UGA, etc. would be easier for them to deal with. On our end, I prefer the guarantee that we hold bragging rights for the next 12 months.
No, 2nd game. I would like the Gamers to play better competition.
They had their shot, and they only get the opp to play us once a year.
The horse (Clemmy) is dead till next November.
Onward and upward!
no. stupid idea.
This is the dumbest idea of all time. Anybody who would even consider such a thing should be shot! And anybody At USC that would even take a call to discuss the option should be fired on the spot.
