Thanks Darrin Horn.
Everything that sucked about this year in basketball I blame on Darrin Horn. As far as I am concerned, FM gets a pass all year because of the abysmal state Horn put us in. That guy sucked at coaching in all facets.
if martin had galloway and holloway we are in the tourney
We certainly would have been better off. Wonder if Horn would have fared better this year with those players? In either case, FM>>>>>DH, and all he needs is time to bring us out of the abyss. I hope Brenton Williams stays.

I don't know that he would have helped much. Do ya'll think that he would have played defense the way Frank demands? Holloway, we could definitely use. Galloway, I don't know. I heard he couldn't get along with Bruce anyways.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
"You’re either a block-gobbler, a farmer, or you’re a damn hunter and playmaker."
Had Frank been able to hang on to the two bigs that transferred to FL/VA, this team would have done ok. So I wouldn't say Horn left the cupboard completely bare. As for Gallaway, he was a locker room problem from what I remember, so maybe it's best he left.
Don't know about the tourney, but with Galloway and Holloway, we certainly would have been in the NIT.
You have to believe that FM would have gotten Galloway up to sped on D. Even if he was a defensive liability, Frank was so desperate for a big guard who could put the ball in the basket, I think he would have learned to live with it this year.
Well, lets hope that Martin doesn't tell any of his players in the best few days that they played poorly this year and that they might lose their job to incoming players if they don't get better.
They might get sad and quit.
I've read some ridiculous posts on here, but this one is right up there with any of them. Surely you can't be serious.
If you mean NIT then probably. This team was so obscenely devoid of talent words cannot describe it.
I don't think he's that far off. Those are two very good players. But Galloway would've graduated las yr.
Galloway never sat out a year.
That's right I forgot about that, I think we would've been bubble team this yr with them.
Steve that's BS on every level. The A 10's arguably as good or better than the SEC, and Gunter himself addressed the rumors a while back and said Bruce and Galloway had made up and in fact Galloway had gone home for break with Bruce before he transferred.
Holloway I agree with...He would have been a monster under Martin, not to mention how much fun it would have been to watch him and Carrera along side one another...Talk about teams HATING to play us!
Galloway is no better than Brenton Williams, Brian Richardson, Damien Leonard, or Bruce (who played off the ball some)...He has some athleticism and is a streaky scorer, but falls a bit short on defense and does not take good care of the ball...We would have been no better or no worse with him on the roster...
U don't think Galloway is better then Brian Richardson, Leonard, or Williams?
We don't have one player that finishes as well or as talented. 17.4 ppg is not a streaky scorer.
He averaged nearly 20 points a game in a good league. Come on.
That said, Galloway and Holloway together don't put us in the Dance this season.
Some of you might recall Galloway actually played for us. He wasn't exactly a difference maker. He would be a sixth man on a pretty decent SEC bubble team. You guys are living in an alternate reality if you think we'd have been a tournament team with him as our best player.
