I know I will get blasted by some on here but it really is sad reading some of the posts complaining if we loose a commitment from someone. We are dealing with 18yr old kids here that are easily swayed and really do not always know what they want. I have talked to several people very close to the program and the staff we have now are some of the best recruiters we have ever had. We are not dropping the ball or not closing with these recruits. It sounds like Rollin is not happy with us still recruiting the 2 middle LBs we are in the mix on. If that is the case I wish him the best. If he is afraid of competition then he would not have made it here. Some of the people on here are just pathetic when it comes to attacking our coaches and some even mocking Tony if we miss out on a kid. It reminds me of the old days on GCC. It is really taking away from how great TBS has become.
Everything is rosy. Why you reckon we've never won a darn thing? Maybe because we fail to land enough difference making players? It matters.
Most are the same bunch who complain about every item. We are the best we've ever been on the field and recruiting. Let the kid go in peace, SOS never has been one to stroke ego's of eighteen year old athletes.
Two grand boys, Two state championships. 5-peat USC
It's always been this way. Think the complaining is bad now, shouldve seen it in the Holtz days.
Fomerly known as Garnet&BlackAttack.
Over reacting by fans to recruiting is stupid! I have followed recruiting for 30 years and if you can't take the ups with the downs then you need to do something else.
I'm just saying recruiting is one of the reasons we've never won anything. Disagree?
I'm just saying we are winning more than we have EVER WON IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSITY. Disagree ChickenOfNC?
My sights are set higher than real solid regular seasons and beating clemson. I'd like to win some form of championship in my lifetime. 39 years and I'm still waiting.
Real solid seasons? Just beating klimpsom?
We are winning more than we have EVER WON IN THE HISTORY OF THE PROGRAM. Disagree ChickenOfNC?
We are on a 4 game and counting ass beating streak of klimpsom ChickenOfNC. Disagree?
Grab some damn reality.
Yep, losing 2 4 star COMMITS to our rivals is completely fine.

Tempest, I notice you struggle with the written word.
Who in this thread says it's fine? Why make stuff up?
Which is a huge reason why I'm concerned that we aren't holding onto recruits.
Simmer down buddy.
Yes we are winning more than we ever have relative to our awful history. Yes we've beaten clemson 4 in a row. Great.
Do you think these latest recruiting failures are indicative of a program capitalizing on those positives?
By alluding to our winning seasons (which are absolutely fantastic and have thrilled me for the past 3 years) in response to people being upset that Rolin and Langley decommitted, you are saying it's fine. Maybe you struggle with understanding the written word?
We have never and will never out recruit UF COOTERUSC77. 98% of the kids in America would pick UF over Carolina. That's just how it is and it's not going to change.
It's not because anyone is lazy or stupid or they go after the big boys and our stupid coaches don't. It's because MOST big recruits will pick UF over Carolina everyday and twice on Sunday.
All we can do is win with what we get. Thank goodness for Steve Spurrier.

Tempest you keep pretending to respond to stuff people SIMPLY HAVE NOT POSTED.
Rolin was a legacy and was all gamecock. This isn't a random Georgia recruit.
Now he's all Floriduh. What's your point?
unlike the OP, he seems to know the difference between loose and lose. Also, he possibly could have just gotten lucky..
My point is when it comes to the casual player UF will out recruit us. They have history and we do not. But when we're losing kids that grew up gamecock, and dreamed of playing in WB that's not good. We're losing battles we shouldn't.
Are we not on the most successful run in our history? Saying we have never won anything is a slap in the face to the young men who came together and fought through adversity and won 11 games last year (with our most prominent bowl victory in our history) and turned around and won 10 games this year with losing Lattimore again. Some people will never be happy and only see the negatives in life. Spurrier has and is building a really good program here.
