Great year against a brutal schedule.
In contrast UGA played 5 top 25 teams(1 away, 1 home, 3 neutral) and Clemson played 3(1,1,1).
Only UF is comparable for toughness, 7 Top 25(3 away, 2 Neutral, 2 Home).
As has been well documented the schedule next year seems much more favorable with Vandy, UF, and CU at home and trading away LSU for home MSU.
Hopefully Arkansas, Mizz, and UT stay down making the road trips easier. Get by UGA early and we should be set up to make a run at the title.
Wow. Interesting find.
Great post. Thanks for pointing that out
11 wins this year is that much more impressive when you look at it that way. Also, how did UF navigate that schedule like they did with such an abysmal offense? Talk about some serious bounces going their way.
Yep, according to final BCS rankings seems there is some parity in the conference; 3 teams from east in top ten, 3 teams from west in top 12, throw in another, from east, in top 20 puts the conference w/ about 25% of the top 25 and 5 teams in the top ten.

Our league is just plain sick. I would have rated Clemson no higher than 12th.
Still hard to look at our schedule this year and call it "brutal". Vandy/UAB/ECU/Mizz/Ken/Wofford/Arky/Tenn - that's eight teams we couldn't lose to on a bad day. It was brutal having to play GA/LSU/FL in 3 weeks, but overall, we've had much tougher schedules than this one. That said, next year looks to be considerably lighter.
