Trying to reestablish their natural rivalry with Presbyterian IMO.
Due to recent expansion in the ACC, it's possible that the 2013-2014 Georgia-Clemson home-and-home football series could be in jeopardy.

9 game schedule in the ACC....just adds another cupcake to the schedule is all...it doesnt make their schedule any tougher...it weakens it.
It is one thing to call out the taters, it is totally different defending them. People quit defending the Taters. This Public Service Announcement is provided by a real Carolina fan. Thank you.
This is not The Syvelle Newton, just his number one fan!
Im not defending them. Its just the reality of where college football is heading. IF the SEC goes to 9, Clemson will probably be the only big name OOC foe we play from now on. 9 conf., Clem. and 2 cupcakes for home revenue. Im sure this is why the politician from the upstate wanted to make it a law that we play each other.
Stupid law, they're afraid Rey might lose relevance. We keep winning and they will become just another game. TE day the Florida and UGA games are bigger is the day Carolina arrives on the national scene, to me I look forward to a day when their game is an after thought to our Regular trip to Atlanta.
I agree. However, being born and raised in SC and still living here, I don't see there being a bigger game. I don't live near a bunch of GA and FLA fans that love to run their mouths when we lose. IT would be a shame if we were to stop playing them.
Livin in Cola I would love the day when they're and after thought and not on our schedule. I'll rub it in harder that the ACC dragged them down to football obscurity
I like the second part of your statement. That is why I think we should do all we can to keep them out of the SEC. It would be a shame not to play them though. IF we didn't, they would always throw the record series in our face.

edit....oh snap...sorry about that last one. i didnt see her/his face til after i posted it
Can't believe I'm sticking up for Clemson fans, but most of the ones I know are furious about this. The admin may be wanting to back out, but the fanbase is desperately hoping they find a way to play it.
