If it had been one of the younger guys on espn that made the comment, like Pollack, would this even be an issue?

POTY so far!!!
Left to right: Reed and Blondie,
I'd much rather hear an apology for continually subjecting my ears to Musberger in general.
If there's a trade possibility, can we get Ron Franklin back over Mussberger?
At the sane time, the USC call of the year was Mussberger's call on Ace's punt return vs UGA, "South Carolina is sending shock waves through the SEC."
boyfriend is insecure.
McCarron doesn't seem to think it's funny. Does that make him insecure?
I think both McCarron and my daughter's boyfriend just want their girlfriends to be respected.
I can assure you that my daughter's boyfriend has no fear of losing her and no reason to feel insecure about anything.

I liked Reece Davis' comment with Lou and Mark May: "Ace Sanders has more moves than Two Men And A Truck!"
Katherine Webb and Mrs. McCarron are both totally hot. All he said was what every guy watching was thinking. Vern was much more creepy.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.
There you have it, that's what's wrong with America, a man can't even compliment the beauty of a woman without someone being offended by it. Wow.
So I thought...hmmmm...let's see what da wife has to say about it, so I showed her the video. Now... Da wife is a very opinionated woman and has no problem telling it like it is, and da wife says "what the heck is wrong with that?" (and she said it with a lot of tone in her voice).
No wonder there is so much bickering and whining on discussion boards....if a compliment can't be passed without offense, then not much else can either.
There's an entire thread devoted to her on the boards now, and they aren't talking in flowery tones about her beauty. That's what the man's remarks led to. He probably did not intend that, and Katherine Webb might not mind, because beauty queens are fairly used to that. Years ago, I was in pageants myself until I served as the hostess queen for a festival. When I heard the remarks of the men sitting behind me in regards to the girls on the stage, I decided to give up pageantry. I wasn't for me.
Who disrespected his girlfriend?
Ridiculous, people are way to sensitive. Get over it.
About 50% of the men talking about her today due to Brent's remarks last night.
Have you read the Katherine Webb thread on here? Would you want men to talk about your daughter, sister, wife, or girlfriend that way?
She wasn't offended by the remarks last night because they didn't name body parts or activities. The thread on here is not like that.
You have to be awfully Sensitive to be creeped out by those comments
Guilty, I guess.
It all depends upon one's sensibilities. Some will be offended...most will not. I would expect no repercussions especially in light of the positive pub she got...it was a solid subject on the sport talk circuit - plus the increase in her friends on the various social media. Can't find too much fault with Musburger after Corso dropped the F bomb on national TV.
Exactly! Wish I could give you all my up votes!
Amazing how overly sensitive some people have become. 30 years ago an apology for what Musburger said would have never been issued as it would have never been viewed as a big deal. Robert Rayford said it best when he said we now live in the "United States Of The Offended."
In all seriousness and with all due respect all I want to know is specifically what did Musburger say that was so wrong or offensive. He said she was beautiful and that QB's get the pretty girls and that young boys in Bama need to start throwing the ball.. I really want to know which part was so offensive?
Exactly....who wants to live in such an uptight pc world where such comments are out of bounds?
WTF...ol brent may be an old bastard but he ain't dead yet.
Apparently he can still appreciate some fine southern trim just like the rest of us
Just WAAYY too big of deal made over it
Just thought his comments had no place in the context of the game. No biggie imo.
Some of the content in this thread is absolute ridiculousness........the girl was in freakin beauty pageants and people are up in arms because someone says she's hot????? Am I the only who views this as kinda contradictng?
