That look on McCarron's face is fear in the form of insecurity...
I agree with Sergeant Hulka.
Musburger was making small talk about a former beauty pageant contestant ... it's not as if he was talking about Honey Boo Boo.

Could be. They haven't been dating long, and she's a little older than he is. He looked surprised to me.
"BTW, my daughter's boyfriend was offended when a guy tweeted him that my daughter is "hot." He was ready to hunt the guy down."
That is the act of a jealous, controlling, and overbearing person and not someone offended by the comment itself. Have fun with that.
Surprised and insecure are two totally different things.
I've seen more offensive pictures on THIS message board than those comments. He saw the female and in a long-winded fashion said she was good looking. heck, he was prolly more interested in Dee dee bonner...

Some of you people probably can't get out of bed without being offended.
What else could he talk about? The destruction on the field was evident. blame the camera men, for finding these ppl in the stands
There was some suprise there, but when he looks down and away, it seems to me that he has a slight microexpression of a frown......
That was my point. The poster thought he was insecure; I thought he was surprised.
She's dated a control freak, and my other daughter married one. Her boyfriend is the furthest thing from controlling. If he were, she would drop him like a hot potato.
He doesn't like for other guys to comment on her in a sexual way. I get it, and she actually liked it. In old-fashioned terms, he was ready to "defend her honor." It was also the surprise of the moment. Her boyfriend tweeted something nice about her, the guy looked at her picture, and made a comment to her, not him. He saw it on her twitter, and he didn't appreciate it. He didn't tweet the guy back. He didn't call him, He just reacted, and his response was a surprise. He is very laid back and never gets angry about anything.
ESPN took advvantage of her beauty to make a little story inside the game since it was a blowout and not worth watching. I guarantee if she looked like a tundra wookie ESPN would have never even put her mug on tv
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.
Ridiculous if you,ask me.
ESPN feels compelled to apologize for, what Brent Musberger said.
Yet, the Vice President of the USA, Biden, can grope women on camera...stare at their boobs and say Holy Mackerel...and that is laughed at? Many are even saying that Biden needs a reality tv show.
Bunch of dang two- faced media liberals.
I could see why some people would get mad if it was a nun, sheet covered Muslim, or a child.
But this is a girl who wears a square foot of clothing to show off her assets in competitions, and woman who wears shirts that accentuate her boob job.
So he's not controlling or jealous but he checks your daughter's twitter account. Why would this comment bother him? The guy did not call her a slut or a whore or anything close to that. He commented on how she looked, her outward appearance to him. He didn't even say she looked like a slut or a whore. Where is the need to defend her honor as you say. If your daughter is remotely good looking she will get these comments from people regardless of who she is dating. If the BF gets mad at them ever time they are said then he is going to be an angry man for along time.

He's very laid back and never gets angry about anything, but he was ready to hunt the guy down? Those two things don't go together...
Not that it matters much, Katherine Webb is OK for an Alabama girl but she's no Hillary Fisher and she didn't need Musburger to help give her national exposure.
This chick has a man face and upside down eyes but everyone is too captivated by everyone being captivated to notice.
Nice body though.
Webb said today on Today that she was flattered by the remarks and did not think an apology was needed.
I agree with her. Nothing said was rude or out of line, IMHO.
Do you think some people were offended because the comments came from a much older man?
You got it. She's butt ugly; we had to hang a pork chop around her neck to get the dog to play with her. The bf checks up on her 24/7, chains her up when he's gone, and portions out her food so that she won't gain weight. He has all her passwords so that he can check her phone and PMs on FB. I'm leaving now to swear out a restraining order. Wait, there's my husband with the shotgun. He can handle it.
