I was just trying to make light of it. You don't know her, or me, or him. I made an off-hand remark, and now he's perceived as a control freak, which is most definitely is not.
I'm not angry. He's not angry. She's not angry. Everything is hunky-dory.
He has no reason at all to be jealous. He's just protective, and I'm glad he is. I've seen guys actually hit on her in front of a past bf of hers, and he just stood back with no reaction at all. It was weird. He acted more like her brother than her bf. I don't expect (or want) a guy to be angry, but he could have at least stepped up beside her and smiled or something. Most guys stake their claim in that way.
