I think this guy went full retard.
The time has come. Imbalanced, arbitrary football schedules, unfavorable bowl politics and a conference office that frequently indicates it
He did go full retard. But he does have a point that the SEC is biased towards certain teams (Bama, UGA)
You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
Unlike some conferences, sec exit fee is $0 so that tells you everything you need to know

The cash and prestige is the draw. If they want to bolt then go. We have the SEC and everyone else is in a no count conference.
34-17, 4-3, 7-1, 29-7, 34-13 ALL STOP!!! It's a GREAT TIME TO BE A GAMECOCK! Back 2 Back Natty's! DOMINATION By GAMECOCK NATION!
They just still P O'd at Saban. They second fiddle for 3 years and Miles cannot get / keep them at the level they want/think they belong at.
Scheduling is an issue and full rotation is the better option but it seems a tough sell for some reason. Unless they weight / rank the teams when schedule comes out someone gets screwed. Just happens to be the marsh kittens lately
He also wrote a column giving reasons why LSU shouldn't leave the SEC. It's called looking at both sides of an issue. Scott Rabelais is one of the top experts on the SEC.
LSU’s membership in the Southeastern Conference has hardly been a perfect marriage, especially in recent years amid growing inequities in f
Havent read the second article yet and while I dont agree with bolting...and it's just a reporter's opinion. That said: HE'S RIGHT on all his complaints and the remedies are sound suggestions for SEC schedule changes. It's a new world in College Football and a lot of it I dont care for BUT IT IS. The 2 rivalries they try to save have little of the steam they usedd to have and that is the only sound reason for keeping permanent rivals. Honestly, rivalries take care of themselves such as USC/Cle, GA/FL and AU/AL
In the comments section of the first article some guy suggested we use the Pac 12's model where teams that want to keep rivalry's(bama vs UT, UGa vs AU) can keep theirs and the rest of us rotate. That's actually a good idea. IDK about you but I sure as hell don't want to get stuck playing A&M every year, they're going to be a powerhouse imo.

Again...since the leagues are in an "all new world" that world involves upstarts like TAM, Arky and yes the Cocks being in a position to win the Championship. As so many have said about these prized d**n championships, a playoff is the only way.
The regular season (within league) is a managed playoff and when ya start monkeying with a semi closed schedule you get the same results as the Voluminous and waaaaay unfair/burdensome US Tax code. Let it flow in pure rotation and those rivalries remain in 13 out of 14 years. I would suggest blank dates for the next 2 members be inserted so it wont be a clustermess when that happens. That would allow some free open dates for out of conference or off dates
LSU has the exact same complaint against Alabama as Carolina has against Georgia. Trash those Tuscafluka clowns. Get rid of the divisions, add 2 teams to 16, keep the permanent rival game, and play the other 14 teams every every other year....and let the highest 2 ranked teams play for the title.
What's Slive's phone #.

I like the divisions as it does assist the league proflle with the championshp game (and a abuttload of money) and I DO think we should monve on to 16 ASAP.
If we knew what was going on I'll guarantee there are 3-4 under consideration but EXPN/CBS (possibly Fox) must become ok with raising the contracts by at least 1/8 more...I'm guessing NCS (if they would promise to pay market value for a coach) and VT.
The RDU/Charlotte/DC Metro areas are huge (compared to other SEC markets)
If they lose to the taters, they deserve to be thrown out of the conference.
