Montgomery is an outstanding player but seriously, could he start in front of either Taylor or Clowney?
Definitely not Clowney and I do not think he could supplant Taylor.
No on Clowney. Yes on Taylor. Taylor is very good but he hasn't proven to be elite.
lol yes he would start over Taylor
If we had Clowney with Montgomery it would be UNREAL...
Sucks we missed on Sam, he is legit.
Devin's PT would be cut tremendously.

I think we would find a way to have all three on the field at one time.
Rabbit package with him and Sutton.
He'd start over Taylor, IMO.
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
We'll all pick Devon to start over Montgomery after Saturday's game. Our D is going to be even more impressive than they were against Georgia.
2010, 2011 baseball national champions.
Haven't seen you around lately. Good to hear from you.
The only question I have about this is: Is Montgomery as good against the run as Taylor? Is he big and physical enough to play the strong side?
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
sam is very good, very fast first step and plays very aggressive. He plays with a lot of emotion similar to his two high school teammates quarels and swearinger. The only thing that gets him into trouble is sometimes he is overly aggressive so like tony said the read option will be interesting. The only issue is that they had no problem with the read option against teams like oregon, but then again there defense wasnt on the field all game against them as their offense could get first downs.
I think you could make the argument that Taylor wouldnt have seen the field as early if Montgomery had already been in the fold, but thats a bid "what-if" Right now, yes he's better than Taylor but there isnt anyone better than Clowney at this point in the season.
Mingo is the better player and nfl prospect. Montgomery is the rah rah, espn commercial, hype video guy. I can't take the unwarranted lovefest much longer
This is not The Syvelle Newton, just his number one fan!
