I'll admit I've only been following the Cocks for about a decade or so, but has any other USC QB had a record like his before, 11-1 I think? Forgive my ignorance, but how did the QB of the '84 team do after that season? I was just thinking to myself this morning about all my complaints about CS's passing, and then I remembered he's only lost one freaking time ever.

ROFL! Yeah, he's an awful 9-1 without those games. Good work, detective.
Haters gonna hate.
ummm the Vandy game this year he came back in playing injured and led our team down the field on the go ahead score... Thompson played terrible.
Maybe you are thinking about UAB?
Hey Tempest, all us morons should just listen to the drivel and not comment. I think this guy must be a former all state football player, probably still wears the letter mens jacket.

What is your reasoning behind saying he's "actually" only 9-1? And is there a distinctive difference for you between 9-1 and 11-1? You're a scrub.
I think Thompson was 0-3 or 4 against Vandy and looked bad Shaw won that game.

Shaw won us the Vandy game.....Did you mean UAB? Thompson scored more that Shaw in that game, but we could have won that game even if Strickland played the second half.
You do have a point about the 2011 ECU game, but still 10-1 is great. I'd be interested to see how that ranked with past SC QBs also.
The OP said 11-1 you said Shaw didn't win the ECU or Vandy game so that would make his record 9-1. You didn't say it but implied it.
Here ya go... since a couple of you obviously are gonna try to change what I say, instead of just reading what I've written, I've deleted all my comments and you can just fill in whatever you like.
and I completely agree!
