**** I'm not an insider, I just live here ****
HELL YES.. Punch them in the mouth early and often and we win...
Why, you think we're going to lose?
Spurrier...I appreciate him plenty
I mean, really. Oregon had a great offense until they played a decent defense that could control the LOS. Clemson is not even the best team we have faced this year. We took LSU's best shot at their place and lost by two, playing pretty poorly. If we play our game and don't give it away like we did vs. UF, no reason we can't win. Their offense is playing better (against laughable defense), and Boyd is better. But, their OL is still very suspect, and their defense is worse across the board from last year. I think last year's game had the potential to be close, but they missed on the early bomb to Sammy and the throw-back to Boyd. If we can slow them down early, I think our physical power and style win out, and their psyche breaks, again.
They will be pumped up and I expect their D to play inspired and up a level for the first few series. We need our first drive to score points and control the clock. If we play smart and not like the UF let down I see no reason why we cant win. Keep the ball infront of us and make them score 80yd drives instead of 1 80 yard play.
I read their message board and they really do expect to win by 3+ touchdowns. They're pretty used to seeing that this year and the majority of them just expect we'll roll over like everybody else they've played. Throw in Shaw and Clowney being banged up and that's where you get the 63-17 type predictions.
While I don't think that will happen it certainly could. Florida beat us by 33 because we came out tight and turned it over a bunch. Clemp's offense is much better and their defense is much worse, but if we give them a bunch of momentum with turnovers they can put it out of reach in a hurry.
Agreed. I still maintain that if we played klimpsun's schedule, Shaw would lead the heisman by a landslide by now.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
O plays normal, D plays normal we win by 14+
Two grand boys, Two state championships. 5-peat USC
According to every alledged expert we might as well not show up, then again, Schlabach picked Mizzou to beat us 31-10, everyone picked UGA over us and Herbie picked the upstate folks to win last year big in the Orange Bowl, if Shaw doesn't play tight we win.
