I'm not really worried about the LB spot for 2013. What are you guys going to do on your last night on earth?
That is a good point. I imagine some of us will just redirect the focus of our panic attacks to our impending death.
If the world really is coming to an end tomorrow, I am going to say to heck with my sobriety, and get as intoxicated as I possibly can, have sex, and then OD. You better not be lying to me.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
Probably beg for some and be denied one last time...
You are going to need some money for all three of those things id imagine.
You won't be needing all of yours, can you help a fellow Gamecock out?
The whole fam damily is getting together at mom and dad's house. The celebration will be epic.

**** I'm not an insider, I just live here ****
Go for it. Lets break out the Coke fellas
The world won't end you fools. I'm currently warming up the leg to kick a massive football the size of Montana toward any incoming asteroid.
I've met some Mayans while on vacation in Cancun. They were bring me piña coladas on the regular. They didn't strike me as a particularly smart people. They kept forgetting to put the extra whipped cream on my drink. I don't trust their calendar to be honest.
cocaine and hookers....nothing special
The rug really tied the room together, did it not?
Amusing how we lend credibility to a civilization who practiced human sacrifice, had no written language and did not have the wheel.
You talking about the citizens of Pickens Co.? I thought their world ended the Saturday after Thanksgiving?
It better not be, considering all this dang money I've spent for Christmas.
I read Matthew 24 again. Still no mention of Mayans having inside info.
We watched "Total Recall." Good movie, but now I wonder if all of my memories have been implanted because I'm a top-notch secret agent.
Going to call my boss and tell him what I really think.
The Mayans were a brilliant people, despite their primitive rituals. Let's not lose sight of the fact that even in the modern world we literally have over a billion people who believe Mohammad's pedophilia was diviinely inspired. And how about the few million more who believe God gave Joseph Smith some golden tablets with invisible writing only Smith could read. The belief that the universe requires human sacrifice isn't that far fetched in the big scheme of things. Just sayin.
In any event, the Mayan calendar does NOT predict the end of the world. They simply view time in a different way than most cultures. We tend to view time as an ongoing straight line, ever pushing into the future (props to Steve Miller band). The Mayans, on the other hand, viewed time as cyclical. So the end of the calendar does not signify the end of the world. It just means things are starting over.
People are really, really, really dumb.
Watch "It's a Wonderful Life" with my boo and drink champagne.
I'm a Christian, but I've always thought of time as cyclical in a way. God doesn't wear a watch. The past, present, and future are continuous with Him. Time means nothing.
Just my weirdness coming out.
The philosophy of time is a very interesting subject. Incidentally, Dr. William Craig, the foremost Christian apologist of our time, also happens to be one of the most significant contributors to the philosophy of time of the last few decades.
There are only two competing theories on time, A-theory and B-theory (noone ever claimed philosophers were creative). Check it out sometime, it's really thought provoking.
And time is "nothing" to God because God is a necessarily eternal being. However, it is a tool of creation, so in that sense time is "something" to him.

Thank you sir! It's great to be here.
I've been on all the big Gamecock sites and this is by far the best. Best insiders, best posters, best format, everything. I wish I'd joined a lot sooner.
