All in all, everything they do is cheesy and over the top.
They actually have scanners now for entrance counts. Yet still estimated a crowd of 82,000
They allow recruits on the field for a very long time. After warmups, Dabo huddled the team on the sideline where all the recruits re standing. They then take the recruits to the locker room with them. And then a few of the better recruits are snuck back on the field for when they come down the hill. That straight from Philpott.
They have totally made the hill thing a complete joke. I'm sure as a player...it's got to be cool standing there looking out over the place like that. But as a fan, I was laughing. Just cheesed up big-time.
The 188.8.131.52 is my favorite tater cheer. Why? They can't do it. That cheer is too complicated. Only pockets of people can do it in unison. Hilarious.
Still don't get why they enjoy littering so much. They love balloons. Those things land somewhere you know.
I do like how they are constantly updating stats for the fans.
That place was deaf in the 3rd and 4th. Eiry like in the 3rd. They were stunned.
Years ago the Clemson cheer I always loved was, "Tigers get that ball back." When you heard that you knew they were in trouble.
Add in the Band Music is always PIPED in when they play and you know just how bad their band really is....

abo has made the hill run all about abo.
He wants to be out front. He wants to be on tv.
I bet he was upset that ESPN talked to Spurrier at the end of the half. He missed that 10 seconds of air time.
Forgot all about that. It sounded like a 45 on an old record player. Horible
What are you guys talking about. The cheesiest thing by far was the WHOLE stadium singing along to Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi. I was ashamed for them. Why in the world would you play this and have the whole stadium sing along during a national televised football game. They had to think that the game was at commercial. Nothing screams more powder puff than Bon Jovi.
Agree on all points, especially the balloons being litter. Last year i called the anti-litter # on them. I'm guessing it takes, a balloon 15 yrs to deteriorate.
Woooooooo Hoooooooooooo Wooooooooo Hoooooooooooo
Wow. Was Extreme's "more than words" copyrighted or something?
The only part I enjoy about Clemson is how they let people on the filed after the game
They do that at most high school stadiums.
Either way my 10 year old son got pictures with many of his favorite gamecocks after the game. Something he will never forget
They then take the recruits to the locker room with them. And then a few of the better recruits are snuck back on the field for when they come down the hill. That straight from Philpott.
Is this allowed per NCAA rules? If it is, then we should have our recruits more involved too.
That is awesome.
I did not mean my reply to be anything more than a cheap shot at clemson. LOL
I do believe there are some safety issues for both players and fans when fans are allowed on the field after the game.

When Dumbo gets a mike in his face, there's no stopping the guy
New name for their stadium... Deaf Valley!
I was actually embarrassed for them that our band was as loud as theirs, when their band was so obviously and poorly miked up.
The other thing I took note of was that most of their fans knew good and damn well they were going to lose at halftime. The concourse had the feel of a funeral. And they were winning at the time.
Got very little anger from their fans post game. They fully expected to lose, and hung their heads like beaten lapdogs.
How about all the flashing lights they'd put on their boards when we had third down? I was surprised they're allowed to do it. Thank God I don't have epilepsy.
We too deep, LOL
Deep in Doo-Doo
clemson players probably make a couple of thousand a game with all the 50-100 dollar handshakes.
Living on a prayer seems fitting for a couple of reasons
1. Preacher dilbo is their coach
2. That's all they had was a prayer at beating us.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubble gum.
I was the A-hole in TDP row Y screaming, "turn on the seizure lights!"
I thought the exact same thing when I was watching the game. Anytime they have a comment about anything that we do on gameday this gives us the ammunition to completely shut them up. Gamecockmd is right it was so loud it sounded like the entire stadium was singing along at the top of their lungs.
