This is what's wrong with the majority of our fanbase.
Somehow it's Spurrier Jr's fault. And oh yeah Dabo doesn't put enough emphasis on personal recruiting, he'd rather be on the golf course. Fire em all I say!!!!
Butthurt? Dear God man. I am far from butt hurt. Its more embarrassment that the top threads on this board everyday are about a rival that we have dominated the past four years. Our obsession with them is rather pathetic. Our focus should be on our divisional rivals who can actually affect us winning championships, not an inferior ACC school who shares the same state with us.
Pretty sure that most of those prospects committed to us because of coaches and conference. Not because we beat Clemson.
You're right, of course, that UF and UTenn getting good commits simply makes the SEC-E more difficult to win.
But given that there's not a thing in the world any of us can do about it, it always helps when the silver lining is that it screws Clemson.
Who appointed you god of what Gamecock fans should think about the taters. Is it because your screen name is all caps?
I don't think a keen focus on an in-state rival in a small state, with whom there is a 117-year rivalry, is particularly shocking or unique.
There's something to be said for that line of thinking. We didn't begin winning big until we started consistently getting the best players out of S.C. The reason our current class doesn't look terribly exciting is because the in-state talent is a bit down this year. It is always going to be extremely difficult to beat the home-state schools for the best players in Georgia and Florida.
Keen focus is putting it lightly. I understand there are times when rival threads are appropriate, but all these "taters suck" threads are an eye sore. For people that really hate Clemson, you sure don't mind discussing them and reading about them.
Our focus is irrelevant. Fans on a message board can focus on whatever they damn well please and it doesn't make a hill of difference in the long run. You're probably one of those guys that gets all lathered up and says, "Guys, we've got a game this weekend against Wofford and all I see is Clemson talk. We'd better be worried about the task at hand and not Clemson...." which of course ignores the fact that no team ever lost a game in the history of sports because their fans weren't as focused as they needed to be.
And for the record, yes you're quite butt hurt. It's clearly bothering you as you're responding to pretty much everyone in this thread at a pace that would make a stenoghrapher proud.
Clemson being down while we are up is the recipe for getting the instate talent necessary to win the SEC.
First off it's not necessarily an either or as both can be done. Secondly getting to Atlanta and winning will do infinitely more good for the program than beating them 10x more in a row. We just don't go head to head on that many kids. I want to clemron to suffer as much as anyone and I HATE all they are, but quality players are much more dangerous at schools who have kids as talented as said recruit and coaches that can develop players (remains to be seen on ucheat). Just beating clemron is not good enough and we need to move beyond that thought. Win the division, win all home games, beat your rival, and win in Atlanta/beyond should be the goals IMO.
34-17, 4-3, 7-1, 29-7, 34-13 ALL STOP!!! It's a GREAT TIME TO BE A GAMECOCK! Back 2 Back Natty's! DOMINATION By GAMECOCK NATION!
Wow. I've never seen a more fitting username in my life.
Says the guy with redneck slang for a vagina in his.....now quick, you'd better get focused. The courtcocks open SEC play soon and we all know how many games we've lost over the years because of an unfocused Cooter.

It's actually redneck slang for turtle. Are you going to get anything right in this thread?
Has Hopkins declared for the draft yet? If not, that could be why two of their 19 WR commits have decommitted.
You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
You edited your post to include that?
You responded with the same lame GIF you've used about 11 million times?
Memorize the gifs I use? Kind of creepy don't you think?
Demarcus Robinson was already enrolled at UF. lol at the taters who thought they had a shot.
If it required actual effort, I guess. But when you've seen it 600 times, it's not hard to remember, "Oh yeah, the pussy err turtle guy...he uses that one a lot."
Hey, it's your go to move. Run with it.... a lot.
And you call me butthurt.
. Been fun.
that was great, I think I'll go "crack" open a beer on that note. (no pun intended).
