to send a committed but unsigned player a tweet telling them can't wait to see them in garnet and black, because if so we are in lots of trouble because our commits (Devin, Vickers, etc,) retweet stuff from our fans everyday.....
PS, Sorry for idea of mass tweet idea, I would never have believed that it is illegal from what you see on these players pages.
I believe it is illegal, but the NCAA just ignores it because every fanbase in the country does it. Just one of many dumb, overlooked rules that the NCAA has.
So it is illegal, but NCAA closes its eyes to it because they would be fining EVERY university and college out there and that isn't gonna happen?? If so, why can't we do a mass text again, haha?? NCAA needs to go ahead and just give up on that recruiting violation non sense. They'll never be able to stop people from twittering players and whomever else. Just my opinion.
Every program would be in trouble. NCAA don't have time for that. Also, I think it would have to be a booster...but could be wrong.
The NCAA is a joke.
For what its worth I just tweeted KY Priester that he picked a school that has more cows than actual people in the area and he was better off at NC state.
Here is your answer
Talking to players/ recruits that you don't know on social media is just plain creepy. My recommendation would be to get some real life friends.
GO Cocks!! Baseball Rules......Email me about info for the Gamecock Dugout Club.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
thats pretty good. upvote for you.
You must not have Twitter. Heck, I feel like me and devin Washington are friends. He loves conversing with us, as well as many other recruits.
What's creepy is trolling around Clemson boards all day like some of yall do...
What you think: We are friends
What they think.....

Tweeting a recruit is an NCAA violation like jaywalking is against the law. (disclaimer: I've never tweeted a recruit)
Not really true. If you don't know anything about Twitter, you're probably just better off not commenting. The whole "stalking on Twitter" thing is ignorant.
Thank u CL, been wanting to say if u dont have twitter then they really shouldn't call people out.
Point is, its "illegal" and I get that now. Excuse me as I go welcome naty to the family...
I know plenty about this topic and twitter.
