That's what happened the last time we opened the season against their mouthy coach.
Thank God ! At least we know it will be a night game and not one of those August NOONERS !
Yep and I'm glad fedora won't make the same mistake we need to stomp em early and often would love nothing more then to hang 60 on em...
Wha? Last time I remember us playing them--in their high school stadium of a venue-- we fell far short of woodshedding those homos
IIRC we opened up a nice lead on them, but something really weird happened to our team at half time. And we pretty much had to fend them off--and rely on a questionable call at the end to do so--and win by less than a TD.
Despising those arrogant bidges as much as I do, I still remember a very hollow feeling after that game...
WE LET'EM OFF THE HOOK!!!
What a GREAT way to celebrate my birthday!!!
Larry Fedora, not UNC. You said something about 'finally coming out with hair on fire' when it was only 2010 when we blew out Southern Miss with UNC's current coach on their sidelines.
"Act like you've been there before and expect to be back." - Bear Bryant
Still in all, 41--13=way too close.
Hope to God we drop the hammer, and don't stop dropping the hammer till the last of their sanctimonious, sockless, gucci loafer shod, baby-blue-cardigan-sweater-with-the-sleeves-tied-around-the-neck wearing, chardonnay sipping, limp wristed, self important, clenched teeth laughing, pseudo blue blood "fans" have hit the exits and are half way back to Chapel Hole.
Few thing would make me happier than a shut out with a forty point plus spread.
Please SOS, for the love of all that is good and holy, annihilate them.

Let's give them a first-hand lesson on how much better the SEC teams are than the EZZ, and that they should eliminate their hopes of joining our conference since they would suffer weekly poundings.
In all seriousness, we need to marginalize them as much as we possibly can as any kind of player in recruiting not only in the Southeast but in their own state in particular. This is done by on the field humiliation and embarrassment...RUTS...any time we have a chance to. We have made inroads in NC, no doubt, but we need to seal the deal.
They don't show up for their own games. You will be able to count them in the low hundreds as visitors because they certainly will not make the trek to Columbia a town which they look down at and describe as being an armpit.
Even a few hundred will likely prove well capable of creating a fairly palpable pre-game stench of Camembert cheese wafting through the tailgating areas.
That was then, this is now...is there a line on this game yet?
