Everyone knows Sammy Watkins is one of the top 2 WRs and a 1st Round talent. Apparently Tahj Boyd is one of the top 3 QBs for the draft. The increasing use of the spread, hurry-up offense makes him more valuable. His ability to overcome adversity is also an important trait of his.
I can't wait to see these 2 NFL talents in Williams Brice next year. I just hope we can make it 5 in a row. It is going to be tough. At least we have the most talented NFL player on our team (Doo Doo!). I do think our offense will tear up their defense. The question is, can we keep up with two 1st round superstars?

No, the last twoyears have shown we can't keep up with tahj and Sammy. We are in trouble.
George Strait-Entertainer of a Lifetime
Elliott "Small" Fry
We kept up with those two and a 2013 first rounder this past season.
Do not see an issue.
swampfox, some people on here don't get sarcasm and jokes. I upvoted you, but you're still down by one.
It will be impossible when Tajh is on his back most of the night to hookup with Potkins
I mean EJ Manuel went in the first round...so strange things do happen.
I agree with Jefe. Vajh let dabo the clown talk him into taking a huge money risk. If he's lucky he'll still be a 1st rounder, but I doubt it. He should have bolted the cult while he was hot IMO.
The rumor in the upstate is that Taj is SO good that they are going to make an exception to all NFL draft rules next season, and let him decide who he wants to play before just before the number 1 pick is announced which means he gets paid more than the top pick.
poor troll IMO
Tajh is a good QB, I have no problem admitting that. But that O does QBs a disservice, not to mention their conference's inexplicable stubbornness to try to stop it by containing it instead of attacking it.
I agree with this. Boyd is a solid QB. One thing that is going to hurt him is size. He is short (for an NFL QB). He is listed at 6'1 by the Clemson propaganda but I would but my life when he goes to the combine he loses an inch. At 6' tall he would the same height as Drew Brees.
I actually think Boyd even though he seems to be consensus 1st rounder is going to have stock drop in the combine. Unless he performs like he did against LSU. That impressed me. That was the only game I have ever seem him take pressure and still make good decisions. He has to prove he can do it in more than one game. After all even Stephen Garcia threw for 85% against BAMA (point - every player has one epic game in them).
I didn't realize they make projections for the CFL draft.
"They've just discovered a new use for sheep over there at Clemson... wool." - Lewis Grizzard
Dabo's the idiot that talked him into coming back. Dabo's going to leave him in one of those blowout games way too long, and someone's going to come off the edge and tear him a new one if they're not careful. THAT'S why he should have left this year, because he may not be capable after next season.
You can't see! I can't see! All that matters is can the f*&%ing horse see! That's a raid!
It was in Boyd's best interest to come back this year. He probably was not a 1st round pick this year.
Dabo was very smart in talking Boyd into coming back. You assumptions about injury are incorrect as Dabo will be preparing Chad "Swag" Kelly for his future in their blowout games.
He won't be next year either when I'm sure the qb class will be considerably better. Dabo has proven he is very selfish when he advises his players and Boyd is no different.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
