I was admiring the unique architecture of the Roundhouse while driving up Rosewood today. Does anyone know if the plans for the Athletic Village call for its demolition? I sincerely hope the folks at the university can appreciate how unique it is, and that it would compliment the area aesthetically. I like how funky it is, and hope it is not torn down to build some soul-less box.
The building will be demolished.

Wonder if it is of any historical significance? As in old enough to be considered for the registry for historical buildings. Probably needs to be 100 years or more.

Seriously, go inside. Place needs to go.
Not sure if serious. That place is a dump. It should have been torn down years ago.
Wasn't sure of its functionality..just thought it was cool looking.
I hope you are kidding. That place is a dump and an eyesore.
It is, however, a perfect example of half-ass 1950s architecture. For that reason alone, they should demo it by dropping a bomb from an airplane.

The roundhouse is an embarrassment to the athletic dept. Blow the dump up.
For those of you nostalgic about the Roundhouse, think of its demolition as one more way to kill the "old way Carolina used to operate." Lots of really bad decisions have been made in that building over the years. That is what I think about it when I see it.
I was not in favor of spending the $$$ on a new office for the AD when sports like track and swimming still use conference USA level facilities. But now that the money has been spent, we should demolish it and hopefully use the space to give Curtis Frye the facilities that he deserves.
