that Monty is done for the year. Any one else heard this?
Thanks. I'll wait for those that actually know about things like this.
From a stress fracture?? I am no doctor but Holbrook is acting like the guy's arm might need to be amputated. Then again Ray always did the same thing; talk about injuries and say that someone would be out for weeks and then they would come back much sooner
Wont know until Wed. Hope not. Dont think so.
Doctors say he could pitch if he wanted too.

Little hand says it's time to rock and roll.
I gave you an UP VOTE for one reason...ur down to 2 stars and I give you the benefit of the doubt that you think in your mind that you heard this from a good source even though it wasn't.
Haven't heard that around campus at all. Re-evaluation will tell us all we need in just a couple days. No reason to rush him back though, so I'm ok with keeping him off rotation for a while. I'd much rather have him strong in May and June.

Boom shakalacka... I just killed your up vote.
False, just rumors.
The reality is, just no way of knowing. The Chicago Cubs pitcher has the same injury and has not recovered yet....been almost one year.
No way to know the severity or how his arm will respond. But any time you talking about an injury to the pitching arm that can only heal with rest...that is not good.
