Connor was in
atleast they are both ways....we got lucky there on the pass int
Pretty sure they just made up for it with the no call on pass interference.
Yep. We got away with one right there.
Yeah really. That no pass interference may have just saved our season.
Complaining about refs is for those looking for excuses, win anyway.
There were plenty of missed calls both ways, but it's the refs opener as well. I saw a lot of holding that wasn't called, and several questionable hands to the face both ways. Obviously we got away with the interference at the end too.
No kidding....we got away with one big time. Might have been a classic case of the ref swallowing the whistle with the game on the line...who knows.
And in regards to the Shaw play...it's not it was on 4rth down and the refs stopped it short. Thought it was an accuarate call myself. Ist and goal from the Tommy Lee line...big whoop. If you can't stick in from there with four cracks at it, you dont deserve to win anyway.
Gutsy win with a little fortune.
I'll take it
Can anybody tell me why we do not line up in the I formation and pound the ball from the 1 yard line instead of using the shotgun zone read
Please, what is your problem? I'm not looking for an excuse. Its just an observation and the reporting of a fact. The refs were bad both ways. The worst non-call of the night went our way and secured our victory. DJ Swearinger clearly interfered with the receiver on Vanderbilt's last offensive play. That was huge.
How is that making excuses. I usually read your post because you often have some insight regarding our recruiting, but every so often you just seem to lose it.
Do you drink? Do you let your 12 year old post under your account?
No I just find it juvenile to cplain about refs. When they are bad both teams need to deal with it. Personally I think trhey were ok. Folks are going to miss calls, but they got most right, see replay results.
Folks complaining about holding not being called don't, IMO understand the rules. But that's just my opinion. Did they miss a call here or there yes, but that happens in every game.
Hard to argue with success, but I agree with you.
Too many things can go wrong, especially defensive penetration in the backfield
Just sneak the mofo. TJ is a hauss, use him. And quite frankly everytime he snaps it in the shotgun I cringe...
