We may not get who we want out of these last few guys we brought in for a visit. I am not going to say that is a good thing. I will, however, offer us this little tidbit of sunshine.
The last few years, there has been 2 areas that our talent has been lacking enough to keep us from being elite. Those 2 areas? QB, and OL. The past 3 years, we have signed Nosovitch, Mitch, and some other guy, whose name escapes me. Nosovitch and Mitch are very talented. Dylan Thompson is the type of kid who makes a huge difference in the program, no matter what he does on the field. He just happens to be a very good QB as well. The future is very bright, finally, at the QB position.
We have signed very good talent at OL the past couple of years as well. We have SEC talent at OL, and we have one of the best coaches in the country coaching our OL. I think the OL we are bringing in this class is top 5 in the country, and probably the best OL class we have brought in in recent memory. We closed with Rodgers, who is a mammoth athlete from MD.
Lets also not forget that we closed with a very talented RB to run behind those big, ugly brutes we signed.
Just a little ray of sunshine, courtesy of Steve. I think I may bring out a weekly post, called 'Steve's rays of sunshine'.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
I think not signing another DT is a very good thing for us. After adding a stud like Griffin, in addition to all of the other players returning.....we don't need to clog the position up. Also, there are 3 DT prospects instate for the 2014 class that already have offers from us, and we lead for all three. For our junior day, we also have a 4 star guy from Kansas that sought us out and will be visiting. Saving the schollies for 2014 at that position is without a doubt the right move.
For LB, I really want Moore and missing out on him would hurt. Regardless of what happens in recruiting, we are going to sink or swim with the guys already on campus for 2013.
I'd love to land Yannick, and he would make a killer DE for us in my opinion.
I do really want Skai Moore. He's the LB we could really use, imo.
Seen some of your posts my friend and we are on the exact same page. Get Moore and Yannick would be other other favorite LB but I feel like he's going to be locked in to Maryland :/.
IMO it's disappointing that we can't close out better after our success, LB need, and program direction. We need LB and hope we can land two. Still time. I look forward to Deke recruiting next cycle. We need another dynamic recruiter.

I want bryant. I'd be happy with either moore or yannick or both, but I want as many scholly's as possible for next year.
Upvote. I'll buy you a beer if we ever meet.
Wow. Now you're going 3rd person on us as well?
