Reports that Clowney ran a 4.5 forty at winter workouts at 270 lbs.
Hard to believe but only adds to the hype.

I believe that. I bet Darius English was close to that as well.
Tony, I believe reported last year that Clowney ran a 4.5 after stumbling on the start during last year's workouts.

Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
Clowney ran track in HS.
If he cracks 4.7 at the combine I will be plenty impressed. Don't think he's in the 4.5 right now but whatever just like someone said only adds to the hype. Remember Swearinger claimed a 4.3 last summer
The OL in klimpson run 4.5's. That big bafoon in klimpsom, the big fat one that beat up Swag Kelly, ran a 4.6. All their WR's run sub 4.2's.
Can u give me a brief recap of the Swag Kelly Fight? I must have missed it.
"U better start fryin' them eggs a lil b it better than you been fryin 'em!"
I think Clowney is low 4.6 right now but he could bust high 4.5 with speed training before the combine. Technique can make a big difference.
English might be high 4.5 but could be in the same range as Clowney from the added weight by the time he goes to the NFL.
4.55-4.65 would not surprise me.
Remember he ran the anchor leg in high school in the 4x100m.
At 22 second mark, you see him in state 2011 finals against track star Brandon Sanders..

FWIW, Clowney sometimes played Running Back in high school. He looked like a natural.
