That's what folks said about Shaq Roland last year.
He's good. He's just not SEC-difference-maker good in many folks' opinion. Throw that in with the apparent diva issues, and you get the present situation.
Once again some of you ask the same questions or make the same random statements over and over again in these types of situations.
The guy is not overrated. He is the top prospect in SC. People need to quit acting like he is overrated because he is committed to UGA and about to switch to Clemson without considering us.
The reason we quit recruiting him is because he is a pre-Madonna. He specifically told our coaches he would come on an official visit then turned right around and told the media that he was taken out of context blah blah blah. He has been playing games with our coaches and they were tired of it. I don't blame them.
We have seen this type of crap before with Gary Gray and Eric Mack. And neither of those guys reached their potential. Move on from this talented loss. With the way this kid acts towards our coaches now, why take the risk of him blowing up our locker room (like a TO or Moss) down the road.
I don't know why some threads devolve into some people bashing Jr. I don't know him personally, but I know he is our coaches son, and that he's not going anywhere. I also know that we have had 3 record-breaking receivers under him.
Trying to turn our fanbase against Spurrier's son is about as counterproductive as anything I can think of. Spurrier will not be happy if our fans start turning on Jr. If we start calling for the son to go, they will both go. However strong of a recruiter he is, we are recruiting at a level we never have before. We don't have much to complain about. Why don't we start a thread trashing Spurrier's wife next? It's about as useful.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
I have a question. What is his level of competition where he is at? I seen the Cane Bay game on tv and that was like watching a JV game. So my impression of him I would say is somewhat skewed, but I was not impressed at all.
Sarabi and Mufasa
Because he's a GA commit and now a Clemson lean!
I'm sure that's Tony's reasoning. Oh, and that guy who knows nothing about HS players, Allen Williams.
Good post scswampfoxx.
I do not really care about Terry, because I do not worry about kids who play the recruiting game the way he obviously has played it.
As I understand it, he told our staff he was committing to us at Camp, then committed to UGA later that week. Decommitted to UGA. ReCommitted. Then told us he wanted us to keep recruiting him. enough is enough. He wanted to play games and I do not blame the staff for not humoring that.
He might be good, he might not, but there are other players under the sun and frankly, unless he is a DB it isn't a major need for us.
And from what I can tell, no one likes Scott Early....
he would have never been offered if he was an out of state player. If he was in Fla, he'd be middle of the pack.
Same things were said about Syvelle Newton. He left here as one of the most loved Gamecock players in years. Huge Gamecock supporter!
You know....like even before Lucky Star or Like a Virgin
The rug really tied the room together, did it not?
Yes he's serious. Same yap yap yap yap yapping he's done forever.
That is one in a million. We have also had guys with baggage that have turned out to be duds and/or harmful to the program. They usually end up like Derek Watson and Demetrius Summers more so than Newton. You are really reaching here.

Just like Q Davis. We need a big WR bad. Terry is an excellent WR that would fit great here.
Are you saying he is incorrect or just taking a personal shot at him? I would like for his post to not but true, but more times than not they are.
