Who would you want as recruiting coordinator that is not currently on staff?
We couldn't pay him enough.
Marcus Lattimore if he can handle being an elite NFL RB and be a Recruiting Coordinator on the side. This is not serious. But if we are playing hypothetical...who is a better ambassador for our University?
Marcus Lattimore or Jadeveon Clowney in their spare time. No, seriously I love to follow recruiting, but not overboard like some people. I have no clue who these coordinators are at other schools. However, I hear Trooper Taylor a lot on this board so I'll go with him. Isn't he dirty, but still gets the players without getting in a lot of trouble? Sounds like my kind of guy.
There are a few posters on this board that think they know everything about recruiting and could do a better job than our staff. Maybe they will put their names in the hat when the job is open.
This would be ironic as hell!! Doesn't seem all that long ago to me that guys like Clyde Wrenn had to be reclassified 'cause they made a rule that the recruiting coordinator had to be an assistant coach!

Amen. If it wouldn't kill the program, there's one in particular I'd love to see in that role so when we didn't close every prospect he'd catch all the crap he doles out.
In all sincerity though, a guy like Stockstill is ideal for that role.
DaShawn Hand's dad would do a good job IMO.
I also don't have time to teach you how to speak hobo.
No need to worry, Steve Miller isn't available at this juncture in time.
my understanding is that this position is in house only and cannot be out on the road.
But it will still need to be filled by person not on staff. Would you move Jr to this position and hire another recruiter? Hire God Forbid Brad Scott as recruiting coordinator? Say what you want but Mr. Ketchup has connections
The taters have him wrapped up so to speak.
He is basically doing this now.
Does this also affect basketball and baseball? If so, the price of doing business just went through the roof
