the picture if from yesterday. Who is digging up the grass.
Would SC do that? (Only if they took my advice to put in a bed of nails and grass)
Is she digging up the grass we planted? Why?
Making her plant her own grass on her own dime IMO.
In the last pictures posted there was grass there that SC planted.
only in SC
Here is a picture from last week
you can find me BBQing on her property all gameday long.
2013 SEC Championship Game: USC v LSU
Backstory? I am confused. (Per usual).
2010, 2011 baseball national champions.
Some lady owns a section of the new farmers market tailgate area. She won't sell to USC. It now has a fence around it and they are digging up the grass for some reason. I walked by and looked at it before the scrimmage yesterday. It looks pretty ridic. Hope she ends up selling.

That fence sticking out into that beautiful open area in the Farmers Market really sucks. I can't believe we are having to deal with this.
Also, I rode past it after the scrimmage and i thought i saw a cable box at the entrance part of the fence, right by the sidewalk. What is that about??? Don't tell me we stuck a cable box there for the owner.
Does anyone know the whole story???
Basically someone is too stupid to realize that the time to sell is now. Her property is going to be useless pretty soon. Good luck with that.
This Lady. Although, I am starting to think she is no Lady.
Who is the lady in the upstate that owns the sliver of land? How did she purchase it from USC or the Dept. of Agriculture?
"As 'X' says: People are suckers for the truth. And the truth is on your side, Bubba."
See picture just above your post.
I'm confused, I thought the whole property was the farmers market, how does she own a sliver of land there? Was her family a farmers market vendor? Also, didn't usc have a plan in place? My guess is that woman/ family wanted a mill for 100 sq feet and SC said go pound sand. Hopefully she doesn't go crazy and build something embarrassing there.

She bought it from USC a while back from the old railroad/cockaboose stuff.
Also see this link from last week for more background.
We brought this up prior to summer about the small piece that was owned by a Kathleen Gardner. Once construction started and that piece was
I'd bring in about 6 full grown oak trees and pretend it doesn't exist. Hide the entire fence with gi-normous red tips or something. This is so dumb. That little piss ant lot ain't worth the cost of the fence. Bet she's a clemmer. #tailgateanyway
For what? An investment property? Seems like you couldn't do much with it like a business
Yes investment. She wants so much for it, Carolina will not buy it.
Can you say "Rip off" scam?
I didn't know the deal last year in the farmers market with it fenced off, thought it was really weird lookin, makes sense now. She must be happy to hold the university hostage
If I were her I would come to an agreement on the price where I made a little money since it's a valuable piece of property, and then get them to throw in one of the prime tailgate spots for free.
That way everyone is happy. USC gets the land and she gets a good spot plus cable/power hookups and a bathroom.
The only thing I can think of is she must not be a USC fan and/or doesn't care about tailgating so she's asking for a stupid amount of money.
I expect we'll see a letter to the editor of The State over her name, claiming to be treated unfairly by the university.
