Any of you folks have to play "musical chairs" with the USC Band last Saturday? We were in Row 5 and bounced around several times.
"As 'X' says: People are suckers for the truth. And the truth is on your side, Bubba."
Yep. I was in row 9, didn't have to move but noticed everyone moving around me.
Row 10. Didn't have to move. Loved how the event staff guy was shooting the bird behind the cops back though.
Were yall the guys sitting next to the LSU guy?
I wasn't personally. I was close to the 2 blonde lsu girls though.
Yes, the usc band director moved the band from the first 3 rows in 404 as asigned by lsu (i assume) to half of 6 rows in 404 during pregame. She did this so she could conduct as they provided no place for her to stand that wasnt in the middle of the mass... well at halftime i lsu staff member informed the fans which moved to aid the band that the could not be in the space swapped by the band. Excuse being that people were complaining about "noise" from the persons in the first 3 rows. We were asked to leave at first. Many of the fans including myself told the stadium staff to pack sand as we were not leaving. The law was then called in... i spoke with the police officer as to a reason for being moved around and she blamed the USC band director. I asked why it mattered but she had zero reason. So everyone relocated and the band sprwad out on three rows instead of 6....
What i gathered was the band was able to male more noise than expected so someone in LSUs stadium staff decided to be a jerk and attempt to move them... the band director was forced on to the field to direct. No one in the section was rude or improper at anytime during the first half... juat a case of a group not appreciating the fact that the competition is going to have fans and a band. Those fans and band are going to make noise to pull for their team... without said compwtition then what is the point of the game?
