This was the catch that was reviewed. I never saw what warranted the unsportsmanlike penalty.
good question...ESPN never showed any replays and announcers didn't say anything about it.
Not sure. Did he take his helmet off?
"People always ask me if I wish I were bigger. I tell them no. I always wanted to be a miniature badass." Dustin Pedroia
I was wondering the same thing... if it was for laying down too long that doesn't seem fair since he was laying down from possible injury.
I was sweating the possibility of overturned td but upheld 15 yd penalty...head may have exploded
I was doing the same.
after that phantom fourth down measurement i dont think that crew would have had the cajones to overule the td called on the field. it might have gotten really ugly.
those chumps knew they blew it, one spurrier quoted as saying he did not know why the first down was called, it just was.
i was more confident the td would stand than much of anything else that happened
If anybody should have gotten a penalty on the play it was the UM db for late hit out of bounds. He clearly shoved Ace at least a yard beyond the end line.
I am not sure Ace did anything, could it have been a celebration penalty and they just chose #1 since he scored the TD?

Tony said he may have talked trash to the Mich players...sounds weak to me.
The personal foul is post play, no chance of overturning the TD.
I think what the OP was referring to was the fact that thay could take the TD away AND we could be penalized 15 yards. That would have made it first and 25 from who knows where. That could have cost us the game.
Tommy Suggs said he was flagged for taunting...I assume after he got up.
Yep. We would have been down again AND first and 25 from about our 50 with 30-something seconds left if they had overturned the TD. I was sweating bullets during that review.

No...that wasn't on the last TD. That was the TD directly after The Hit. There was still plenty of time, something like 8ish minutes to go.
Make sure that they remember, forever, the night they played the Titans!!!
No way that could have happened. It was dead ball. If you celebrate going into the endzone they can penalize you and take away the td.
Yep. You're right. My bad. Still trying to makes sense of the whole game. That 4th quarter was a blur.
