I don't care what you do, but don't boo those fine gentlemen from College Station. They work so hard to get their yells organized at such an early hour. Many of you might think they are terrorizing our grounds and threatening us with their chants. They are ROTC members and deserving of the utmost respect. And they don't have cheerleaders, so they have nothing better to do than getting their vocal chords finely tuned for the game. Please dont boo them when they come to Columbia. I beg you to be respectful. Let the players do the talking on the field. Go Cocks
Can we toast them? All male cheer leading is gay if you ask me, with all due respect...

A little early for this, but I respect you for posting.
Can't wait to play them!!
I've been to Midnight Yell and a game at Kyle Field and it's one of the best environments I have ever experienced in college football.
I couldn't resist my brethren...it will be very very interesting playing them instead of Arky. Exciting times fellow Gamecocks!
we should be respectful and welcoming... someone should coordinate our cheerleaders to put out three cheers when they first come to town. It would be cool to have cards in the fan's hands that say in order:
"Welcome to Columbia"
"Welcome to the SEC"
"Good luck, Now go to Hell"
I thought this was going to be a joke playing off the "don't boo Navy and The Citadel" posts from last fall. Give me a break.
It doesn't rhyme. Must be a haiku.
Clemson used to be a military school. So we should respect that tradition and not boo Clemson? Yeah right.
The Yell Leaders that came to Honolulu w their volleyball team a few years ago could all kick your arse. Seriously.
can't believe this got so many down votes. well done sir!
Why don't they just drink like normal college kids?
I'm pretty sure it was a joke... lighten up. Well done OP.

this post deserves upvotes from last years NAVY posts. I think some might have missed the point.
Lol yes it was a joke thank you for understanding and having a sense of humor. It never fails, there's always those who think these posts are serious. Which is funny, because the original DO NOT BOO Navy post was serious. If that was sarcasm, jokes on me. On another note, Clemson is now our little beeaachh Go Cocks!

Some of you gentlemen are, frankly, retarded.
Boo. I boo you.
Well, it is a little hard on a discussion board to tell when someone is being sarcastic verses being serious. This thread is a good example of that. Without tone of voice....it's anybody guess, yet the OP's seem to think we be mind-readers.
Someone posting about the Flying V at the game is a good example...as if everyone was supposed to know what he was talking about. Only those who attended the game would have a clue...so hey guys, how about a little more info on the front side so we don't have to inquire later or guess.
I understand your point, but it is alot more amusing to see everyones initial reaction.
That's great. Can't wait to see it, then watch them walk out in disappointment after we thrash them.
I would hope so as I'm a quadriplegic now. There's an unassuming guy on our staff that would kick their aces easily and probably most guys playing D1 football! I had to learn the hard way...

You may ONLY toast them if you're an alumnus. Geesh - haven't you been reading the board?
I designed trusses for a guy, from Brenham, who's daughter's an alumnus! Does that suffice?
I've been to a ton of football games in my life and I can't remember once ever booing the other teams cheer leaders.
The team... yes, but the cheering squad, not.
Have you ever seen an all male squad? Male cheerleaders are as worthless as TOAB...
There isn't any actual booing involved. I still don't think you understand. It's possible you didn't see the original thread about Navy or you don't understand what sarcasm is. Either way you don't deserve to be so confused about this thread so I apologize. For those of you who do get this, my thanks be to thee.
