word on Elliot? I wasn't around much yesterday and see nothing on here or google about App State coaching situation. TIA.
oh come on. type it quietly if it's a secret.
Last couple of days have been posts stating Appy's OC alledged/rumored to be the lead candidate. Wes noted Elliott is in Dillion tonite to see King & Park, going to see D Stanley @ Latta as well, that's all I can add.
"Act like you've been there before and expect to be back." - Bear Bryant
Not that this means anything, but I heard the guys on 560 The Team saying they heard Elliot was heading to ASU from the people they were talking to. Take it for what it's worth.
You really believe those guys and what they say! Coach Elliott tweeted that he was not in Boone interviewing for a job but there supporting his alma mater. I cannot believe he would be actively still recruiting these guys for us if he planned to leave.
To your avatar, catch and release or shore lunch?, either way it's a great pic.
I have no inside info, but I seem to remember that he has previously said he would only go back to ASU if Moore went out on his own terms. This article suggests that he didn't leave willingly.

catch and release 95% of the time, but not opposed to keeping minus grizz country. Thanks for the comment. I was going to update it recently but forgot. Definite on shore lunch or gravel bar. Nothing like floating down a river in Montana fly fishing with a cooler full of beverages and sammiches and then pull up to a gravel bar and having a lunch or drinking an adult beverage or 2.
Once I floated the river in the avatar (in Montana) late Sept and listened to Todd Ellis and Suggs call the USC/SCState game via satellite radio. What a day.
He would also take a substantial reduction in pay if he took the App st job...like 150k a year. He and his family love Columbia/Camden and being around their family(grandparents).
Nice, I am not refined enough for fly fishing prefer to use small ultralight spinning tackle for smallmouth, beverages and sandwiches on that river had to be 1 heck of a nice day.
I'm addicted to MT and go out there at least once a year, during "good" years twice, you should do it.
One fine day I'll live out there 4-6 months out of the year.
Fly fished the Big Horn out of Fort Smith, Montana, every year beginning in the late 1980s for 15 years during Thanksgiving week. Nothing beats the shore lunch and catching 30-40 rainbows and browns from the drift boat and river wading. But, what has this got to do with football and App State?
This thread took an immediate left turn.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.

Nuttin. FWIW, love the BH, but have only fished it once. Did you only fish the BH while you were there or did you move around. Interested in hearing your opinion if you did indeed stay there all week and if you enjoyed going to only one river.
I did that on the MAdsion one Spring and had a blast.
Glad Elliot is staying!
