what a good OL can do. Just about every tater I talk to about our game thinks they are going to light us up because what UT did to us. They just don't understand how much better UT's OL is than theirs. Their coaches don't understand the importance either about OL because if you look at their recruiting class they have 1 committed. Unbelievable.
SSSSSHHHHHH! Don't help them figure it out.
Tenn also used 6-7 OL/TEs many times also and sent only two to three receivers out.
The Clemson - UT comparison is a bad one. ECU and Clemson makes more sense. If Clemson is patient enough to run quick passing they will have success moving the ball....ECU had 400+ yards on offense. The problem comes in the red zone when they have trouble pounding the ball and passing windows begin to shrink. This game will be decided by our red zone defense and our ability to hold Clemson to FG's instead of TD's. Fortunately, we've done a pretty good job in the red zone aside from the Florida game.

The rug really tied the room together, did it not?
Because linemen aren't used in 7-on-7 football leagues.
Depends on officials allowing the old to hold. They could do OK if allowed to slow our o line down by those tactics
Clem's offense is a lot better than ECU's in that they throw a lot more deep balls and have a lot more weapons at WR. ECU very seldom threw deep. They won't be able to do it all day because we are going to live in their backfield but Clem will definitely take a few shots down field. We can't let them hit those and we have to come up and make the tackle on the quick hitters. I feel we will do both very well and win going away. I will be very surprised if the outcome isn't already decided by the start of the 4th qtr.
I think CU will score some points on us. I will be surprised if Tony does not predict they put in the 30's on us. The key to me will be if we can reciprocate and put more points up on them.

Agree. We are going to have to score 34+ to win this game, IMO. CU's offense is too good to be held down the entire game. They will be throwing screens and quick passes to nullify our DL, and I imagine they will have success with it for at least the first half.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
