Starting to plan this trip. 13 hour drive, no thanks. Should I fly into and stay in NO, and rent a car to jump over to BR on gameday? Or is staying all weekend in BR a better plan?
Stay in New Orleans. All visiting fans typically do. Baton Rouge is decent but nothing in comparison. Short drive, maybe an hour from Bourbon Street.
Do what I did last time we played there. Stay in N'orleans and take a private bus to the game. That's the plan this year...staying at the Inn on Bourbon from Thurs to Sun. As the game gets closer, you'll hear more people talking about plans for this game. We got on a bus with other Carolina fans, which was all inclusive for like $60 a person. Great road trip.
New Orleans, last time I had a party bus on gameday from the hotel to BR and back. I will keep you in the loop.
Keep us all in the loop Pierce.......me and my wife are planning on going too....first trip....
definitely interested in jumping in. will need to confirm the number.
I'm in. Group of 6 guys. Pls keep posted.
Two or four from Bluffton are also interested in this trip. Thanks, in advance, for keeping us posted. Go Gamers.
I can't go, daughter's getting married, I am 50, last went to a game there 35+ years, we stayed in Nawlins, even as a 12 year old I could tell it was cool. I live just outside of Charlotte, have some friends who are App. State fans, they were there a couple of years ago, they would tell you the same, catch that party bus to Baton Rouge.
Gonna have to tape the game, will be there in spirit.

Stay in N.O. I have always been able to hook onto a Gamecock bus from there.
BR would be a hell of a time if we win. If we lose NOLA would be more fun. I lived in br for 17 years and went to LSU let me know if u need any help
