I think FSU will seriously consider bolting. I think they have been thinking about it for a while and comments by Jimbo and that BOT member late last summer brought to light a lot of that thinking that had been in private. They are losing money in the ACC. The post earlier this week showing they lost $478k just on the ACC CG is further proof the ACC is not a money maker for them. Not as bad as Maryland but I have read in several places FSU Athletics is hurting cash wise. The ACC is killing them not only on the field because of mediocrity but also in the wallet. They may lead in revenues but when you bottom line is zero or in the red that is not good.
Like I said I think they see how much Maryland pays in exit fees and then what is available to them which is either stick with the ACC or move on to the Big XII. Big XII has an offer on the table but they may be hoping and praying against all realty that the SEC extends them an offer which I do not think will ever come. They had their chance back in 1991 and they flubbed it. No second chances and now they bringing nothing to the table wrt to TV sets which is what drives all this expansion. Besides UF would block it with the support of us, UGA, UK, and maybe Auburn and Bama because of recruiting. That only leaves them with the Big XII. B1G would only be interested in them if they ignore the fact FSU is not an AAU school like the rest of the B1G (except now Nebraska) to gain a TV market. I am not sure they would do that. GT, UNC and UVA are all AAU and bring new TV markets.

Looking on the tar hole site there is a link to Gameday saying the offer has been extended to NC but didn't say any other schools had been invited.
You are talking about the B1G "offer" or the SEC "offer"?
I'm talking about the BIG offer
Thanks. Never know with those dreamers. In their demented minds college and professional sports can't function with them.
