if we see LSU again, we're going to the national championship. Lets go LSU
I would love for LSU to run the table and play them again in the SEC championship.
I know we would beat them soundly.
We could not have played worse and they could not have played better and the game was close.
I agree, i would love for LSU to run the table and get another shot at them in Atlanta. Assuming we're healthy at the time, I would really like our chances.
That said, I strongly disagree with your assessment that LSU could not have played better. They left a lot of points on the field via a missed FG, and missed opportunities inside the red zone. Sure our defense deserves credit for coming up with some red zone stops, but LSU had an untimely penalty and a couple questionable play calls that led to FG's rather than likely TD's. Did LSU play better than they had been offensively? Absolutely. However I feel safe in saying that's not the best LSU can play.
Either way, that game is finished and it's time to move forward toward the Gators. The HBC will have a great gameplan and I truly believe the boys will play some inspired football!
The score was close, not the game. We were beaten soundly. I hope not to face them again. Roll tide.
I hope LSU plays Bama like they did us and we see them again. That said, they manhandled us on Sat. Scoreboard could've been worse. Won't happen again though on neutral field.
youre nutso if you'd rather face the tide!! Mettenberger is trash, AJ is anything but
The score is all that matters. After this past Saturday, I am pretty certain we can't beat Bama. LSU in a neutral environment where the crowd is not heavily in their favor is VERY beatable. We should have still won this past Saturday after getting beaten "soundly" as you say. Not going to argue that they wont the LOS on both sides, and while that is very important I still believe we are the better overall team.
