  • After seeing some fans jump the gun after the first quarter and the remarkable turn around in the next 3 quarters, I had to say something.

    Those who spoke first before seeing the end result, I guess, don't understand that our football team hasn't had a game in a month which obviously will have some first quarter jitters. Yes, I know that our defense is slap full of athletes, but the play calling was much better in the 2nd half.

    Overall, I am excited for next season and hope we bring in a well known LB coach.

  • I thought he did a great job adjusting. As the game went on, we took them out of their offense gameplan. That is what a dc is suppose to do

    It wasn't a question of jumping the gun. Our defense didn't lay particularly well in the first half. They were much more effective in the second half and, IMO, DC Ward deserves credit for the improvement in their play.

  • You're going to give up a lot of yard to an option first offense and the fastest kid in College Football. It's just good that we were able to make the right adjustments.
