Hard to beat those five plays, but I think that DJ's INTs against both MSU and UT were huge for our season and saved us in those two games. The MSU pick sealed the deal and the UT pick pretty much saved our season.

Also it's hard to leave out Alshon's hail mary touchdown vs Nebraska that set the tone for the rest of the game and eventually led us to our elusive 11th victory.

I personally believe the Garcia run for a TD against ECU was a big deal. That and the strip and TD by Allen. Those two plays don't happen and we may have started 0-1

You are right.
I did not really consider the bowl game when doing the piece but no doubt that Alshon's catch to end the first half was in the top five plays that made Gamecock fans cheer in the stands or in front of their television.

I liked DJ's INT's against Tenn, and MSU.
Shaw's Diving TD against Fla, where he just got the ball to the pile on.
Also, WG, what about that 4th down TD to Buster Anderson against Tenn. Remember, everyone thought we were going to run it up the middle, and Shaw just barely escaped getting sacked and hit a streaking Buster for the TD?
I cannot argue with your picks, but I liked those three as well.

My two favorite plays were, IMO, proof that Connor Shaw had what it takes to be a big-time SEC QB.
The first was against Clemson, a short TD toss to TE Anderson. Shaw was confronted by a DL. He calmly sidestepped the rusher and delivered a TD pass to a wide open Anderson.
The second was also against CU. Fourth quarter, Two rushers converging on Shaw. Instead of trying to throw off his back foot, or worse still taking a sack, Shaw stood his ground, took the hit, and delivered a perfect - and I mean perfect - pass to Alshon in the back of the end zone.
I look forward to seeing CS in Garnet & Black for the next two years.

i would say my favorite play was ace's punt return for a touchdown vs ecu. Also, Dj's big hit that caused the ball to go flying in the air vs nebraska. just my 2 cents

Devin Taylor had an overshadowed year!! But a great one!! The fourth down tackle on possibly a go ahead drive by Navy was huge!! That tackle helped seal that game. What a scary and horribly scheduled game!!

Clowney's number on Tahj Boyd was awesome. If you watched it on TV,the look on the Clemson fans faces right after was priceless. It was almost like they were scared for the 2012 & 2013 games already.

2. Shaw to Alshon hail mary vs. Nebraska.

Alshons one handed snag on the tip of the football against Arkansas was just an amazing catch. One handed grabs are one thing, but to catch it on the point stretched out with one hand was spectacular. We lost, but it was still a great catch.
