A former four-star prospect, and the No. 5 running back in his class, South Carolina freshman running back Mike Davis has patiently waited for his chance to contribute.
very excited to see how these young men do Sat!
Amazing how much he looks like and runs like Mark Ingram.
Kid is going to be a star for us.
I REALLY think this kid is gonna be a great back
Excited to see him play saturday, esp if he gets into a rhythm, which he hasn't been able to do this year yet. Be nice for him to plY well vs Ark and Wofford, then explode onto the scene @ Clemsux.
Very good piece, JW!
Are you saying that the stuff us fans say about a recruit after he spurns our team is not true?
Davis's ceiling is very, very high. He's as talented of a pure runner as there is in the SEC. He's a strong, stocky kid, yet his quickness is something else. Looking forward to him getting some confidence.
Ally will beat the crap out of Uga.
About 3 TDs @ Clemson would go over well up there.
With as much natural talent as Davis has, and as good of a mind set as Davis seems to have...Top that off with Having a guy like Lattimore "tutoring" him so to speak....sounds like a future star to me. And have you seen his highlights? Think about us (Maybe) getting Lattimore back in 2014 and having Davis coming off an entire 2013 season starting role. Joining up to split carries that 2014 year...whoa.
