This thread is reminiscent of the one just prior to the season opener vs ECU when Spurrier announced that Connor Shaw would start the first quarter.
Remember how convinced some folks were that Spurrier was jeopardizing the season, and that we couldn't win without Garcia?
SOS had watched both of them practice for a month, and he could see that Garcia had regressed, and that Shaw had what it took to win.
There were some twists and turns, but ultimately, Spurrier's judgement was correct. I'll trust him on this call as well.

Wow surprised by the comments. Does everyone hear not remember the last 5 hires sos has made? I mean really chill out
This can easily be used against USC in recruiting. It could pan out to be ok, but we'll see. Hiring Stoops would gain immediate respect from a recruiting standpoint.
Come on Spurrier you know Stoops is the best an for the job, experience, recruiting, been a winner, you don't have to be a rocket scientest to figure this out.
