Do people who stand up at games ruin it for everyone else?

  • I will start by saying I have been a stander for my whole life. I've always thought sitters were old and boring losers. Not true fans.
Well the Downvote Mafia and The Troll Watchers have made me rethink this. Who am I to stand when some people just came to watch the game. They just want to come to the game, watch, clap and go home. The don't want any of the hoopla and the jumping around and high fiving. Who am I to force my obnoxiousness upon them? They pay the same admission price as I do. So this season I have a decision to make. I'm leaning towards sitting down so I don't make these old folks uncomfortable.

  • no, people who wear jerseys do

Jersey wearers above the age of 12 are certainly a problem, I'll agree with that.

  • I really don't get the jersey wearing comments people make on this board. What is so wrong with wearing a jersey? There was no better point in time last season when I was wearing my Clowney jersey in Athens in the middle of Bulldog section lower level on the 50 and standing up for all to see when he three Erin Murray down like a rag doll and MI6 ran it in.

I think our fan base hates jerseys because for a long time we didn't have players jerseys worth buying/wearing. Now Clowney and Lattimore jerseys couldn't be bought fast enough and that's what's exciting to see. Jerseys are completely fine by me

no, we hate jersey wearers because people that wear jerseys look like idiots.

this isn't a steelers game, it's an SEC collegiate football game. dress appropriately. for you, we'd accept a wife beater and jorts over a jersey

Same guy that wears Sir sucker pants and bow tie to game with his crokies around his neck the whole game.

Get yourself a Lattimore jersey and quit dressing up like a clown

  • Jerry I 100% agree about the jerseys. I am curious what you wear. I'm going on a limb and saying southern tide polo tucked in to your shorts with rainbows or sperrys. How accurate is that

I have 4 or 5 under armor polos I normally wear to games. used to hate the sideline version, but did buy last years version and wore it a couple times. khacki shorts and some sort of tennis shoe. alternate visors. if we lose, that visor is retired permanently

If that's what you wear to games then we were twins minus the visor ( I got my black magic snap back ) up untill this year.

I switched to Clowneys jersey because you simply couldn't magnify his decision to come to USC and the fact it was the best 3 year investment I would ever make. Almost as Sure thing as they come. I will never knock on anyone wearing a jersey him/her is representing the university and these days I have no clue why you would not want to own a #7 or #21 jersey

jerseys are for the people on the field, and in some cases, children under the age of 12

    LilJerySeinfeld

  • Pretty much the same thing minus the visor. I wear a hat

  • I usually wear Under Armour Cargo Shorts, Short black socks, Under Armour tennis shoes, a Under Armour gym shirt and a fitted flat bill that I wear backwards. I usually match my hat, shirt, short color combo on the uniform the team will be wearing that night. Thats why it makes me so mad when Tony can't tell me what jersey color we will be wearing. I hate when we wear all garnet, its' so hard to find red pants.

Do you play sandstorm or 2001 when you are driving into cola to get yourself pumped up and be in the zone as a fan?

I did. In high school. Pretty sure at all my games, the only people wearing jerseys were on the field/court

    LilJerySeinfeld

  • I play Sandstorm so loud down 77 just before bluff road exit that you would think the student section is in my car. Then as I preceded onto bluff road 2001 is played for all to hear with my windows down and jersey on.

Didn't get on the field when he did. Why would you want to wear the jersey of a19 year old? And people wonder went athletes are egotistical.

I pretty much wear the same thing but I wear a mouth piece with the UA on it.
