Doesn't Florida State start off in the Top 10 every year? I know they were way up there last year and were very fortunate to squeeze into the Top 25 following bowl season.

It favors us as well. Looking at that list, the teams ahead of us will probably go undefeated through the uga game.
Beat them and we're top 5 heading to Baton Rouge for a top 5 matchup against LSU.
Pull that off, and we might sit at number 1 for the first time in a very long time.

UGAy loses to Mizzou...mark it down.
So Cal's schedule minus Oregon, looks like an ACC Atlantic schedule.
No one knows what Arkansas is going to be like this year. I think John L will cost them a game or 2.

We were #8 in ESPN's preseason rankings last year as well, and ended the season #9 in the final AP poll -- and that after all of SG's problems and Lattimore's injury. So I'd say that ESPN had us ranked fairly accurately.
Now, with UGA ranked ahead of us, a win vs. the Pups at W-B could put us in the top 5 or 6 headed into Baton Rouge to face a team that should be no lower than #2.
Tailor made for 8p.m. Saturday night on ABC with Musburger and Herbie, meaning a full week's worth of pre-game hype on ESPN. Big time football indeed.

Actually, no. The SEC doesn't get that spot. The SEC game of the week/first choice goes to CBS, and you're looking at a 3:30 start, more than likely.
