They also have Larenz Bryant ranked as the #13 ILB in the country. They are lazy when it comes to evaluations.

If the rating is for QBs as a group, then I have no problem with it. Outside of Shaw we have zero proven QBs, and close to zero experience for our backups. Shaw has only been a starter for half a season himself.

I hope Tanner and Nosovitch shine with a fine, fall camp--lots of reps.
The early three games should allow the back ups to get some quality game experience before the October gauntlet arrives.

I thought it was pretty fair. Shaw is smaller than youd like for a running QB, and if you recall was banged up a few times last year. Also, we have no real depth at backup, and the star rankings arent going to wow anyone. So I think it's a fair assessment based on what an outsider would know. I think Shaw is a top 5 QB though, but as a group, QB might be the weakest position on offense.

Based solely on starting QB the rating would be higher. Irrespective of ESPN's rating, I am confident that we can, and will, win big with Connor Shaw at the helm.

Rodgers shouldn't be ahead of Franklin either. I think a lot of his hype simply comes from who is brother is. He made some good plays last year, but completing only 50% of your passes and having a 9-10 TD/INT ratio just simply isn't that good.
Also, not a single backup QB they listed has done anything of note. Any team in the SEC would be in huge trouble if their starting QB went down... not just us.
