  • Does anybody else think that Allen and Robertson are undervalued or am I just too high on them. Allen can also excel on special teams and TR is a beast. Two of my favorite gamecocks.

  • All in all I think this years senior class will make a name for themselves come D-Day.

  • Where were these "draft experts" when Alshon was destroying DBs in 2010 while being 4 lbs heavier? Go back and find these guys mock drafts from previous years and you won't value their opinions so much. They are no better than us. Just have more time to look at tape. Does not make them better talent evaluators!!

Allen has actually shot up for most of
The NFL scouts. People had him in the 3rd or 4th round after the season but after watching more film on him, scouts have started to move him up. If he runs a real good 40 at the combine, he will go early 2nd round

  • I think Travian's Shrine bowl practices probably got him into the 4-6 round draft range. He was also named captain of the East team, so he obviously stands out as a leader in a crowd.

He may not be a starter, but he is the type of guy that will have a spot as a backup for 8 years or so. Here is what the scout from CNNSI had to say about Travian:

"He proved Tuesday that he's an NFL talent in his own right," Tony Pauline of SI.com wrote yesterday. "Robertson looked athletic, quick and very strong. Lined up primarily at defensive tackle, opponents found it impossible to move him off the line, and on several occasions he defeated blocks to make his way behind the line of scrimmage. Robertson is a thick lineman with the strength to hold down the tackle spot in a conventional four-man front and the athleticism to get consideration as a two-gap end in a 3-4."

  • i dont understand how AA isnt valued more. hes perfect for guarding tight ends and stoping the run. jets/bengals second round pick. gilmore will be the next person to have an island in the nfl. i just love the kid. jeffery should be the first wr off the board. im sorry hes better than blackmon. i can see a team trading up to take him. mi6 please get drafted by a 3-4 team more options to play early. i hope from now on the nfl draft will be loaded with gamecocks.

  • I think Watkins will be a 10-15 year pro at guard.

  • Personally I think Gilmore could be an All-Pro Free Safety. I know he is going to play corner but I personally think he would be an amazing safety. I always thought he was excellent in zone coverage and could be great at picking up a 3rd or 4th WR.

My thoughts exactly. If I were an NFL GM, and Watkins was still around in the 4th round, i'd spend a pick. He's a mauler.

I also don't have time to teach you how to speak hobo.

  • I disagree on Jeffrey being "what he is" as far as size goes. I went back and watched some highlights from his sophomore year, and he looked about 8-10 pounds lighter. I think he probably loses that weight before the combine and runs much better than people expect.

I don't think he was heavier in 2010. Go watch the highlights of him versus Bama. He looks slimmer to me.

I would guess the injury history hurts TR some. But I do not see how a 4-3 team could pass on him in the 4-6 range. Great character guy, works hard, leader, ect. All the intangibles and he was a solid player in the sec for 4 years.

Go look at his listed weight. 233lbs vs 229 lbs.

Rather than look at what is listed, watch some games from 2010 and 2011. AJ was slimmer in 2010 and definitely seemed a tad faster.
