That its about the players. Thought the article was awesome, but he makes a statement about being ultimately accountable, and honestly he left the cupboard bare here in Columbia, which just seems so odd for a guy of his caliber.

I can't believe he's working for probably the second dirtiest program in the NCAA. He may be shocked when he finds just how much people other than coaches put into recruiting at that crap hole.
He's a good guy, did an excellent job recruiting everybody but LB's here, and was an outstanding DC. I'm not pulling for him at Auburn, though. I hope he has a horrible defense there.

Stats are oft times skewed. Good recruiter, I'm sure a nice guy, but overrated as a coach. Also talks too much and tries to get his face out there too often.

Wasn't USC the best defenses he had ever had? I'm not knocking the guy, I'm just curious, because I had not heard his name as an elite DC before the couple of great years he had here.
