Congratulations to Matt Nesmith, USC golf signee for his recognition in SI's "Faces in the Crowd".
Matt was recognized for his victory at the American Junior Golf Association's FootJoy Invitational in Greensboro. Matt is the AJGA's #2 ranked golfer.
Beat the Tigers, Matt!
***UPDATE*** Nesmith just won the Rolex Championship. He's now rated #1

Honestly, nothing special. If a highly-ranked player happened to be from SC we'll get him if he grew up a Gamecock fan. All but one of our players - Sean Kelly's from NY - are from SC, NC or Georgia.

I thought Bill McDonald was our golf coach and that Puggy is the director of golf operations, whatever that is.
