    Saw it today. That small parcel along Bluff looks ridiculous so hopefully the university puts up ten-foot walls completely surrounding it just to piss this woman off.

    A similar thing happened when the panthers built their stadium. The guy wanted a ridiculous amount of money for a small parcel. They offered $100k I believe and he refused. The panthers had the zoning changed, fenced in his land and surrounded it with bushes. Now the guy gets taxed every year on land he can't use. It's across the street from the parking garage if anyone cares to see it.

    Guess "sticking it to the man" backfired miserably. Hopefully we do something comparable to this tater.

  • a piece of land like that is not worth too much as it only has value to one buyer. No one else would pay a lot for it. If she sells it for nothing to someone just to piss the University off, they will just turn around and sell it for double. Line it with dumpsters it what I would do.
