Folks that live in Columbia...

  • Its amazing to me that the radio hosts in the upstate are universally predicting a Clemson win, and in some cases a easy Clemson win because our D cant hang with the so called explosive O they have (against ACC teams)

    The attitude of the fan base is the exact same. 14 point win is what I have heard from a ton of thier fans. I heard on the radio this am that B Williams, DJ and Holloman were overweight, slow and would get scorched by thier O.

    Its really the entire feel of the pickens county clan.

    I really really hope that our team gets wind of the attitiude for da kittens...because our team is being shown zero respect.....none.

  • I agree. But I am very much hoping that our team is aware of the general feeling from the upstate. The comments about our fat, slow secondary, the bltant disregard of any possibility that we can hang with thier so called explosive O. That Dabo has the fan based fired up about Spurrier's comments, that they are going to out athelete us...the general attitude up here is way off base.

    Come on, it's the home crowd. Did you listen to any talk radio in Columbia during the week of the Florida game - you would have thought we were playing Vandy! And if you think it's bad now, wait until this time next week!

    who are these homers on radio? i listen on iheart (thegame and the fan)...an hour ago "chief" (whoever that is) was arguing with the hosts about clem's weak schedule. dr rick and teddy? are they even SC fans? ive heard cola radio argue that uga didnt have a schedule advantage this year....what station are you listening to?

  • In my "mature" years now and it is clearly evident in dealing with Clemson fans that you can't fix stupid and don't argue with an idiot...just walk away ....or turn the channel. It is the ONLY way to even be civil with the ones you must keep as associates. They just cannot stomach the success at USC right now.
