Work on your reading comprehension bra....Best NFL shuttle on team, good 40 time, small in stature hmmm, who does that sound like? We'll see.....

lol as to why I said "IMO" he is way to slow to be effective weren't you watching the games? got ran down every time. Not saying he can't play receiver b/c he can, but definitely not a PR guy. My RC is just fine I just have a different opinion is that ok with you STEW?

    GoFightWin

  • That's fine, I agree he did get ran down a few times. Guess I came off a little snarky. rockon

  • People forget how good Wilds was when Marcus went down last year. There wasn't a big drop off. That is why I picked Wilds as my break out offensive guy. I didn't realize he was doing this in the weight room when I did so.

can you see us keeping all of our RB's beyond this year? factor in incoming freshmen and who we lead for next cycle...

  • Did anyone not impress during winter workouts? Awesome to see all the off season dedication the last couple of years.

  • Straight line speed is not what you need to be successful as a PR. You need good vision and can make great cuts and be elusive.

Not say Nick Jones will be our PR but I remember he was pretty successful at it at byrnes

That you should have been faster more elusive and had better vision

  • I can't wait to see our D-Line this year! Most people thought that last year'
s d-line and year before that's d-line was the best, but I have the feeling this year might be even better. With Clowney (a.k.a. Hit Heard Round The World) and Chaz Sutton/Darius English on the ends, it will be difficult for ANY Offensive Line to stop them. As far as offense is concerned, I really hope are players play to their full potentials, because the Gamecocks could have the most prolific offense in the SEC, better than the way-overhyped UGA Bulldogs, who have lost the past 3 years, just reminding. Anyway, heres hoping spring goes well, no injuries, needed positions are filled, and the summer goes even better. GO GAMECOCKS!!!!!!

  • Good question and the reality is that we are loaded. We are loaded at QB, we are loaded at Tight End, by the start of season we may be five deep at receiver with Smith and Jeffries also fighting for time and our offensive line looks bigger stronger and faster than ever before.

Scoring at least 45 points a game could be our new norm. Yet trying to keep four quality running backs happy will be a challenge (and that doesn't take into account the qb rushing yeards). Most successful teams can keep two stars happy.

As good as Williams is, unless something drastic happens he will probably be redshirted. Remember Williams is the kid we took over Bryant and all the articles say he is going to be a star at ND. A star at ND, fifth team at Carolina. Salley may still need a year to regain his strenght. With that we still have Carson, Davis and Wilds.

The news on Wilds is great, Carson's speed is apparent on the baseball diamond and we all expect great things from Davis. Unless we use Wilds in different formats (FB or a slot) it will be hard to maintain the quality at RB that we have. GO COCKS ,

    Not fumbling is nice too.

  • I really enjoy this report and the good outlook we all are having. As far as the jam at RB, we need to step back from "too much talent and attrition" because that is what the Big Boys have as a luxury. Our star studded backfield would more than likely be backups with them other guys, so lets embrace the problem instead of trying to predict people leaving. You want to get to a point to where your 3 deep are starters at other schools in the SEC! Example: John Fulton starts at Carolina as a freshman but chooses to wait his turn as an upper classman at Bama. The team is shaping up greatly and I'm loving it!
    Go GameCocks!!!

45 points a game is a little high. If we averaged 30-35 a game that would be phenomenal. We play in the SEC, 45 a game isnt going to happen. A&M won't average 45 a game next year I would almost guarantee. We certainly will be better on offense than we've been in a long time though.
