    I'm with you about deferring to the knowledge of the coaches, but that was an article by rivals.com about kids who received scholarship offers after participating in a rivals.com event. Does it mean our coaches are smart because rivals chose him to toot their own horn? He might be a bust in the end. I hope not and I don't expect it, but I just think in your effort to put people down, you kinda failed.

  • Though he was not rated when USC offered the porn star (lol) anyone with a brain could see that at 6'2 220lbs with 4.67 speed and 23 reps at 285lbs, the kid has talent. He may be a late bloomer but he will be 4 star soon also look at his offer sheet. So most fans don't have a problem with guys like this. Some of us do have issues with offers going to 2 star recruits that are being recruited to play LB at 180lbs and currently only has an offer from a weak program. But its our opinion and we have to trust the coach who brought him to the table. Isn't that what sites like this are for? To express ones opinion

  • I have a lot of faith in our coaching staff in regards to offers. It looks like Cory Simmons may be ready to contribute this season. A huge TE with good hands. That's a luxury for a QB.

    The 2* LB you are referring too is picking up major steam. I talked to a couple of guys in Georgia that have seen him play and they all agree he has potential to be an SEC LB (not just Spur for us).

    Some of them actually found his tape and sent it too the Bulldogbiltz (or whatever UGA rival site is) to get them to forward it to the staff. Needless to say the UGA mods were very impressed (first they had seen of him too) and gave rather good reviews about him.

    Unless these kids go to all the camps they will go un-noticed. Like Knight Dallas; had he not gone to this camp and won he would still be under the radar and our fans would be going ape-sh*t cuz we offered and accepted his commit for he simple fact that some website doesn't know who he is (despite our coaches seeing him in person).
