ATHENS, Ga. – With its 45-42 victory at Sanford Stadium, South Carolina has won two straight games over Georgia for the first time since the 2000-01 seasons.

A win is a win, and I'm thrilled we beat UGA. But, between the offense, defense, and special teams, the offense is a concern. While the defense may not be great, they are certainly opportunistic and they saved the day today. I really think the offense will come around and start to play well soon...we have just too much talent for it not to. Kudos to coach Butler for really tightening up the special teams. Not complaining, just sayin...any win over a SEC East team is a great win.

I think the offense sputtered no doubt, but I am more concerned with out defense. We had a few big plays but just like last week, GA ran up and down the field on us.

whittle how did we come out of the game injury wise? Didn't see TRob in there most of the game.

Finally...we won a game the same way we have lost so many games in the past, with scores on offense, defense, and special teams! If feels great to finally be on that side of the coin for a change.
This game for me was something of a mirror image of the last time we played at Georgia, as they won the same way we did this time. Go Gamecocks! SEC East Defending Champs!

Good point Boogity, even though the D scored twice and took another two the 5 yard line, the 4th quarter was tough to watch. Aside from the fumble and TD by Clowney and Ingram, we couldn't stop UGA in the 4th.

I really do not want to be negative but our secondary needs good coach,if we do not improve by the end of yr. we need to replace Ward. Please do not call me a racist because of this comment.

It's the second game of the year, we can get better as the year goes on and I believe we will. Coming from behind on the road?? We've lost so many of those games in the past I'm glad we pulled this one out.
