So what are you saying? Bad calling against us or for us won us the game?

both sides got the short end of the "calling" stick. And then it seemed the HPU made up for it with even worse calls. Don't get me wrong. Glad we are in the 'ship, but the officials sucked a big one last night.

  • The umpiring was awful - but not one sided. We got screwed several times, and holmes would've gone further without the messed up strike zone. I will say that Price was the only pitcher that extended the strike zone - but I wouldn't call a questionable pitch a ball when he's the pitcher either. He looks like he could kill when he's pitching.

  • they have beat our ass in all 3 major sports since 92, especially at the most critical times, money?, hell wal-mart couldn't buy them a championship?

  • I'm sympathetic. Their team played well and they're just bummed because their team lost even though their team played a great game. If the Gamecocks had lost, I guarantee there would have been plenty of fans on THIS board finding ways to rationalize the loss.

    Pay this no mind.

Great post. Price does look scary when he is pitching.
